STL CAPS Welcomes Local Guests

On Monday, December 12th the STL CAPS students and staff welcomed 50 guests from St. Charles and St. Louis.  Attendees included teachers, administrators, board of education members, community college faculty, economic development officials, and business owners.  The event was filled with informal networking where students had the opportunity to practice their professional skills by telling guests about their projects and experiences.  The students participated in a 30 minute panel session where they answered questions from attendees and talked about their experiences with professionalism, projects and provided examples of how CAPS has enhanced their academic and social emotional growth.  Many of the school officials commented that after hearing directly from the students they plan to make CAPS a priority for their students to access in the future
