Business Students help a non-profit organization create a fundraiser

STL CAPS Global Business and Entrepreneurship students got their hands on working with a real-world project; they were able to set a reasonable goal to reach from planning the “Drive-Thru for a Cause” fundraiser. STL CAPS business students are working with Bridge Builders STL, a non-profit organization that is raising money for St. Louis-Dupree Exchange. BBSTL’S mission is to inspire genuine conversations that encourage vulnerability and multiple perspectives, in addition to enacting and empowering change in communities all over. Although the business students have faced many problems when starting the project, they were able to face these problems head on in trying to create a successful fundraiser. “Drive-Thru for a Cause” will take place on March 11th, between the hours of 5:00-6:30 PM at Mehlville High School. Kalbi Taco Shack (operated by a STL CAPS student’s family) as well as Cunetto’s House of Pasta will be providing meals for the event. Proceeds will go to the Bridge Builders STL’S 2021 St. Louis-Dupree Exchange Program.
