St. Louis CAPS Hosts Business Partner Appreciation Breakfast

In May the St. Louis CAPS program hosted their annual business partner appreciation breakfast at the St. Louis Community College South County campus. The breakfast provides an opportunity for student associates and instructors to thank all of the business and industry partners they interacted with throughout the school year. It also serves as one final opportunity for everyone to connect on a personal level and share what the future holds, especially for our program graduates that will be off to college the next year.

Authentic business partner interaction is a key component of the year-long courses offered through the St. Louis CAPS program. The business and industry partners provide opportunities such as internships, job shadows, site tours, and projects while also serving as mentors and guest instructors. The student associates presented each business partner with an appreciation plaque during the breakfast. One student associate from each St. Louis CAPS course addressed the entire group and provided their unique perspective on how big of an impact the business partners have had on shaping their future. At the end of the breakfast Dr. Travis Bracht, St. Louis CAPS Program Administrator, presented each student associate with a plaque and pin.
