This course provides an entrepreneurial approach to education that is designed to give high school students hands-on, real world experience in global business and entrepreneurship. Students are fully immersed in a profession-based learning approach. Students are able to gain experience working with real businesses, assisting and learning through meaningful projects, and working in a variety of fields, including Human Relations, Entrepreneurship, Global Business, Sales, Promotion, Event Planning, Fashion Marketing, Sports and Entertainment Marketing, Finance, Agriculture, Hotel Lodging, and Restaurant Management, just to name a few. In addition to being a part of real businesses, students are also paired with mentors out in the field - individuals who are working each day in these professions. In addition to important profession-based learning skills the students acquire, they also gain 21st century skills such as problem solving, time and project management skills, business ethics, and self-discipline.
